Exiles
My name is Exziles Dorvil, I'm a dancer, a professional Actor. I come from Haiti, one of the French Caribbean Islands. I'm very passionate about Zouk, I fell in love with the rhythm, the sound and notes of Zouk music.
Growing up in Haiti Zouk and Konpa are the two genres I've danced to from a very young age. I later moved to Miami for fourteen years and in those fourteen years I have enjoyed the growth of Zouk in the States. Every Saturday night there's an over crowded Zouk event in Miami and on some special occasions there is the white parties which are always overwhelming. Zouk is love, tender, romantic, hot, sexy and passionate.
Dj's and Crew
DJ LordGee
Born in Canada of Haitian parents, DJ LordGee was always exposed to the sounds of the caribbean. During his adolescent and early adult years he was deeply interested in HipHop and R&B music which ultimately resulted in his ongoing passion for DJing since 1998. Even then, his friends and family recognised his talent and his musical ear for his passion, but he never pursued it further other than playing for friends at houseparties.
During his Uni days in France he was introduced to the romantic sounds of Zouk and since then has always kept an attentive "ear" on that scene.
Now in Sydney, DJ LordGee has the opportunity to share his love for music with a wider audience.
Having much love for a wide variety of music genres (hiphop, r&b, salsa, reggaeton, dance, zouk...) makes LordGee a versatile DJ that undoubtedly will make you move.
